Flunking can be so much fun!

We can happily announce that Molly's foster family has decided that Molly was "home" all along. Her foster mom writes:

I received a message from Melissa about the family in Rockford that would like to meet Molly. I would like to request to adopt her myself. She is so happy with me and my husband (she doesn't like all men) and the kids. My Mom visits often and loves her too. She is very sweet but it has taken her a long time to come around. I just could not see her with any other family. Gina

Congratulations from all the IBR family for flunking fostering with this sweet girl!!!

MOLLY IS IN FOSTER CARE!

Molly is really starting to come out of her shell. She may have been mistreated in the past. When we first got her, she cowered at any fast moves. It was really bad if they came from above her, like reaching over to pet her. She is much better now. I think she will need some time in a home where she feels safe. I also think exposure to lots of people who are nice to her will help as well. She is very suspicious of strangers.
She does not like to be crated but we are working on it. We have caught her with shoes a couple of different times. She had not chewed on them (or we caught her before she had a chance). She just seems to want to carry them around!

LIFE ON THE OUTSIDE!

I AM SAFE!

My name is Molly and am sweet and good with other dogs. I am very submissive and I will slink on my tummy when I am on a leash. I really just need someone to love me so I can build up my confidence! I just found out that I am getting a bath instead of getting put to sleep! Illinois Birddog Rescue has saved me! I am so worth it!

EMPTY NEST

My puppies have all been adopted and I am worried. I know that they are safe but for some reason, I don't think I am safe! I have heard people talking that I will be be put to sleep in 2 days. That doesn't sound good! Someone please help me!
