She is very sweet but it has taken her a long time to come around. I just could not see her with any other family. She may have been mistreated in the past. When we first got her, she cowered at any fast moves. It was really bad if they came from above her, like reaching over to pet her. She is much better now. I think she will need some time in a home where she feels safe. I also think exposure to lots of people who are nice to her will help as well. She is very suspicious of strangers.<br />She does not like to be crated but we are working on it. We have caught her with shoes a couple of different times. She had not chewed on them (or we caught her before she had a chance).
